2018-2019
Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
With great enthusiasm, I would like to welcome you and your child back to another exciting school year. For those who are just joining us, welcome to Cathedral Chapel School. First, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Long Pham and I will be the Religion and Social Studies teacher for grades 6, 7, and 8. This will be my 14th year of teaching here at CCS.
I have established a learning environment designed to maximize achievement for all students. My teaching style promotes respect, persistence, self-sufficiency, and relevance. Students will be actively participating in many engaging and educational lessons and activities throughout the academic school year. My goal is to educate and challenge your child academically, spiritually, and socially. In order to provide my students with excellent educational climate they deserve, I have developed a classroom discipline plan that will be in effect at all times. Please take the time to review the following Classroom Rules and Behavior Expectations with your child as reinforcement to what I spoke to them in class.
Classroom Rules:
1. Come prepared to learn.
2. Be respectful and show kindness to others.
3. Always allow others to learn.
Behavior Expectations:
1. Show consistent respect for yourself, other people and school, student, and teacher property.
2. Participate in the learning process and contribute to the learning environment.
3. Follow all classroom procedures and obey all school rules.
Communication and cooperation between school and home are key for your child's success. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me. We can look forward to a very rewarding, exciting, and hardworking new school term. Thank you for your support and THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING CCS.
Sincerely,
Mr. Long N. Pham
